The Cable Center is comprised of five core components working together to create programs that preserve, document, demonstrate, educate, and communicate the contributions of the cable industry.
The Center's Core Components are:
- The Barco Library collects and documents the rich heritage of cable telecommunications.
- The Demonstration Academy enhances understanding of the cable industry’s technological advancements—past, present, and future.
- The Magness Institute focuses on the management of the cable telecommunications business through education and training.
- The Programming Institute reaches out to the community and industry to showcase and preserve the best of cable programming.
- The Web site reaches the global audience beyond the walls of The Cable Center offices.
