The Programming Archive collection is composed of hand-picked titles from top networks, representing the best in cable programming. This rich collection contains hundreds of hours of audience favorites such as HBO's Sex and The City®, Outdoor Life Network's The Lance Chronicles®, as well as Peabody award-winning specials such as MTV's Fight for Your Rights® campaign.

The Archive is a leading repository of original cable programming that supports the educational and research programs of the Jonathan M. Levin University Chair in Cable Television Programming at The Cable Center.

The preferred format of source footage for most broadcast stations, the Beta SP format has become the standard of comparison for all video tape recording formats. Our programming collection includes Beta tapes of many popular programs, including HBO's Sex in the City and Six Feet Under, Showtime's Queer as Folk, and Court TV's Crime Stories.
