New Dimensions of Customer ExperienceThe spring 2017 C5 meeting, held at Comcast headquarters in Philadelphia on May 3-4, was centered on the theme, New Dimensions of Customer Experience.
The busy and productive two-day session covered strategic issues with customer experience such as the co-creating experience, organizational culture, internal CE, and innovation. Among the highlights was the popular “Egg-timer” session where MSO members shared challenges and successes of their customer experience initiatives. For the first time, C5 got an intimate view into the global market for our products and services through the first-ever international panel of experts. This panel was comprised of our three international MSO members from Brazil and China.
Our guest vendor, Continuum Innovation, gave an informative presentation on how Design Thinking can change the way we solve product, service, and process challenges, and, on that same subject, results were presented on The Cable Center’s first Design Thinking project conducted by Drs. Patti and van Dessel in the new TCC Active Learning Lab. This meeting also provided updates on two additional new projects: the role of self-service and digital channel metrics.
"We are so pleased to see the ongoing development of C5”, said Dr. Charles Patti, Senior Fellow and Cox Chair. “This meeting brought together the largest number ever of international members and invited guests, with participants from Brazil, Argentina, China, Europe, and Canada.”
