Cable Hall of Fame: 2019 Inductees Shine Bright in NYC
Oh, what a night! On May 2 we celebrated our 22nd annual Cable Hall of Fame at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in NYC. The glitterati of the cable industry gathered to honor our newest inductees: Leslie Ellis, president of Ellis Edits, Inc.; Phil Kent, former chairman and CEO, Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.; Kyle McSlarrow, SVP of customer experience at Comcast; Steve Miron, CEO of Advance/Newhouse; MTV’s founding creators; and Susan Swain and Rob Kennedy, president and co-CEOs, C-SPAN. Cox Communications’ former CEO, the late Jim Robbins, was the recipient of the distinguished Bresnan Ethics in Business Award. Thank you to all who attended, sponsored, and celebrated with us; your support continues to help make our Cable Hall of Fame tradition and celebration possible. We are thrilled to welcome our new inductees into the Hall of Fame and already can’t wait ‘til next year’s big party—April 30, 2020, here we come!
